The glass mosque is a transparent mosque which blends into nature and society. The design aims to destroy the silos created between the migrants and the society which help the prejudices to vanish. The glass walls are openable so that it creates healthy environment in the post-covid era, connect the exterior and the interior physically, and also extends the floor area.

The interior part has closed circular volume covered by an openable dome, which doesn’t only contain the ablution area but also a small amphitheater which can be used as a seating space or a meeting point.

The transparency of the mosque makes it easier for non-Muslims to get exposed to the Islamic culture which helps the society to blend by creating bridges between the different community layers.

The project is located in fælledparken park, Copenhagen, Denmark which is located in an immigrant-based region, which serves the religious needs of Muslims living in this district.

The glass walls -as consisted of separate openable panels- can offer a totally flexible ventilation and circulation scenarios which helps the different using possibilities of the space.
