Happy Hooves Oasis Equine Gestalt Coaching Addresses Post-Deployment Stresses
Human-horse interaction is the basis of the methods employed at the Happy Hooves Oasis (H2O). Personal deployment re-entry experiences of the founder-led to her belief in the benefits of the method.

Happy Hooves Oasis and Tiffany Sedorus are pleased to announce the establishment of the Equine Gestalt Coaching facility is based in Kuna, Idaho. The techniques utilized at the facility are instrumental in allowing the client to leave painful experiences in the past. As a Certified Equine Gestalt Coach, the founder faced difficulty after returning from a military deployment in Iraq. Traditional therapy was not providing her with relief from the feelings of estrangement from civilian life in the same way as the companionship of her horses did.

Happy Hooves Oasis is specifically designed to be the location where surviving becomes thriving. When stresses in a military deployment seemed overwhelming, considering an oasis’s symbolism was a positive practice. H20 is a stateside equivalent to the desert oasis. It serves as a sanctuary and safe place to relieve feelings of unnecessary uncertainty about the future, lost, unheard, lost, and unimportant. Time at the oasis is focused on embracing oneself, and one’s loved ones. The experiences of the deployment can be left in the past.

Those who are struggling to relate to family and loved ones can find help. Happy Hooves Oasis works with whole families as a unit. Each individual who is struggling is provided with the security and stability to move toward vulnerable courage. They acknowledge both strengths and independence, allowing for stepping out with peace and understanding. Even before Tiffany knows about the Equine Gestalt Techniques, she found calming and healing by just being around horses.

The mission of the facility has become apparent. H2O works with veterans on their path to healing. The horses help to provide them with needed clarity. By partnering with horses at the oasis, no soldier or family unit will be left behind. The horses show each person the support and strength they need to heal and move forward. The facility provides coaching, as well as boarding and care for animals.
