Sasha Anne Makes Acting Debut in ‘Jersey Devil’ Short Set to Film in March
Producer Suzanne DeLaurentiis is in pre-production of the new Very Frightening Tales installment starring beauty influencer Sasha Anne
Earlier this year, producer Suzanne DeLaurentiis (D-Railed, Middleton Christmas) announced the next installment of her horror anthology Very Frightening Tales will be about the infamous Jersey Devil legend that dates back to the 1700s. Beauty influencer and entrepreneur, Sasha Anne is starring in the episode and will commence filming in New Jersey at the end of March 2021.
Sasha Anne will play a college reporter investigating the Jersey Devil (aka Leeds Devil) and the disappearance of her cousin (played by Madison Ekstrand), which is believed to be linked to the Jersey Devil. Sasha Anne has been working with famed acting coach, Giovannie Espiritu, to prepare for the role since receiving the script.
The Very Frightening Tales anthology will premiere in the summer of 2021 and has already received film festival buzz. Previous episodes have featured guest stars like Eric Roberts, Sally Struthers, and Joe Estevez.
A recent graduate of FIT, Sasha Anne has over 1.5 million views on her YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/sashaanne where she is known for her makeup tutorials/transformations. Aside from her work as an entrepreneur and beauty influencer, Sasha is an advocate against bullying and wants to encourage other young people to be true to themselves, embrace their individuality, and be confident. During the latter part of 2020, Sasha underwent chemotherapy treatment for lymphoma and is now happy to be cancer-free. During treatment, the beauty guru and actress kept her spirits up with a bubbly attitude while wearing her trademark tiara to all of her doctor’s appointments. She was determined to beat lymphoma and not let it dull her spirit.
Sasha loves playing different characters, whether it’s on YouTube doing one of her makeup transformations or playing a new role on TV and she looks forward to exploring new acting ventures like her role on Very Frightening Tales in 2021.
