Born in August 1980, Emad Zand is a California-based award-winning designer of luxury projects, the winner of seven architectural awards, a member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the author of the best-selling architectural book “Secrets of Sketch” published in 2013.
Hailing from a family of artists as his dad was a painter and his grandfather a conductor, Emad Zand has innate artistic abilities, which blossomed when he began his journey into the world of architectural designs in 1998. Since then, he has designed over 200 commercial and residential properties, earning the Master of Art, Architecture title. His impressive artistic prowess can be traced back almost three hundred years ago when the Zand dynasty, a Persian dynasty founded by Karim Khan Zand, ruled between 1751 to 1779. The reign of the Zand monarch, who was at the time the country’s most important ruler, was marked by prosperity and peace. As a result, arts and architecture flourished under Karim Khan’s reign.
He has a plethora of skills which includes interior design, furniture design, fashion design, digital art-NFT, fine art painting, and theatrical stage design garnered from his natural creativity and studying in some of the best designs schools around the world, including the School of Design and Arts: Architecture Program, Milan, Near East University, Cyprus, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Manila among others.
