SKG, Hazel Love and Shay Nutt Participates in the One Legacy 5K Charity Run-Walk bringing awareness to organ donating.
Supporting a worthy cause and staying fit can be as easy as putting one foot in front of the other when you sign up for a charity walk.

Of course, rapper SKG ( Helecia Choyce ) is no stranger to philanthropy. She’s done her part to bringing awareness to feeding the homeless, donating over 50 pair of shoes to children in Watts, California for a back to school drive and raising money for important causes. Now the rapper has focused her attention on bringing awareness to the the non profit “One Legacy”
Founded in 2003, the Donate Life Run/Walk at Cal State Fullerton is the largest event of its kind in the nation. The event features an inspiring opening ceremony, competitive 5K run and healthy 5K/1K walk, followed by a Family Festival with food vendors, live entertainment, special activities for children and a raffle drawing. Special guest included ABC 7 news anchor Phillip Palmer, DJ Carisma, DJ NicoBlitz, The Spark Sisters and First Ladies Of The West, SKG ( Helecia Choyce ) Shay Nutt and Hazel Love.
BUSINESS WIRE reported that nearly 5,000 participants, more than 200 teams and over 30 exhibitors gathered, at Azusa Pacific University to participate in the 21st Annual OneLegacy Run/Walk. This celebration concluded a month of ceremonies and special events to honor Donate Life Month. Thousands of donor families and friends, transplant recipients, local hospitals, funeral homes and transplant centers, corporate and community partners, as well as organ, eye and tissue donation advocates, celebrated the gift of life with family and friends, while raising funds that will benefit the OneLegacy Foundation.
OneLegacy is the nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives through organ, eye and tissue donation in seven counties in Southern California: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, Santa Barbara and Kern. It serves more than 200 hospitals, 10 transplant centers, a diverse population of 20 million donors and families across the region and waiting recipients across the country.
